I’ll be at the Homestead Community Center at DC Ranch in Scottsdale. I’ll be giving a Boots and Burgers talk to benefit the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. There will be wine and appetizers served starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are $35 if you’re not a member. And I can’t think of a better cause than protecting our public lands. I hike at the McDowell Sonoran Preserve several times a year, and several trails are featured in the book. What a gift to have such a huge swath of space protected from development.
